Saumil Chudgar, MD, MS, was selected by the Duke University School of Medicine Class of 2021 as the recipient of the Thomas D. Kinney Award.
This award is given by the graduating medical school class to the faculty member who has been the most influential teacher during their time as medical students.
Dr. Chudgar is an associate professor of medicine (General Internal Medicine) and assistant dean for clinical education in the School of Medicine. Chudgar served as the Department of Medicine's director of undergraduate medical education for the past seven years.
