Congratulations, Dr. Lefkowitz, on receiving the Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2012

Robert Lefkowitz, MD, James B. Duke Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) and Biochemistry, was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2012 today.
From the Nobel press release:
"Your body is a fine-tuned system of interactions between billions of cells. Each cell has tiny receptors that enable it to sense its environment, so it can adapt to new situtations. Robert Lefkowitz and Brian Kobilkaare awarded the 2012 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for groundbreaking discoveries that reveal the inner workings of an important family of such receptors: G-protein–coupled receptors."
Mary Klotman, MD, chair of the department, added: "The Department of Medicine is so very proud of Bob and all of his accomplishments, especially training the next generation of physician scientists."
Dr. Kobilka, of Stanford University, completed a fellowship in the Lefkowitz Lab, 1984-1989.
