Kathleen Cooney, MD, chair of the Department of Medicine, has agreed to serve as a member of the Board of Scientific Consultants of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Cooney will serve a four-year term beginning in 2019.
The Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Board of Scientific Consultants is an advisory group that provides an external review of research and clinical programs planned and undertaken by the Center, Hospital and Institute in pursuit of the goals of the Institution.
