Corsino to receive Network of Minority Health Research Investigators award

​Leonor Corsino, MD, assistant professor of medicine (Endocrinology, Metabolism and Nutrition), will be honored by the NIDDK Network of Minority Health Research Investigators (NMRI)

Dr. Corsino will receive the NMRI Medallion at the group's annual meeting in April. The award recognizes an individual’s many years of significant service, contribution and loyalty to the Network of Minority Health Research Investigators (NIDDK/NIH). It exemplifies the individual’s highest commitment to improve our understanding of minority health. The NMRI Medallion is awarded to NMRI members following recommendations by NIDDK and NMRI leadership.
