Cutson and Webb named fellows of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine

Toni Cutson, MD, and Jason Webb, MD, have earned the designation of Fellow of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.

The Academy is the professional organization for physicians who care for patients with serious illness. Advancement to fellowship status within the Academy honors dedication to and scholarship in the field of the hospice and palliative medicine.

Dr. Cutson is an associate professor of medicine (Geriatrics) and community and family medicine. Dr. Webb is an assistant professor of medicine (General Internal Medicine) and psychiatry and behavioral sciences, and he serves as the Director of Education for the Duke Center for Palliative Care

Cutson and Webb will receive the designation during the closing plenary session of the Annual Assembly of Hospice and Palliative Care in Orlando, Florida, on Sat., March 16, 2019, joined by 3,300 colleagues working in the field of hospice and palliative care.

The Fellow of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (FAAHPM) status is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a physician member. Cutson and Webb have demonstrated a significant commitment to the field of hospice and palliative medicine, and we celebrate their achievement.
