We are pleased to announce two faculty promotions to Assistant Professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine, effective May 1, 2019:
Nicole DePasquale, PhD - DGIM Researcher
Dr. DePasquale joined GIM faculty in 2017. As a research scientist, her effort is entirely dedicated to building a program of research in psychosocial determinants of chronic disease outcomes.
Rachel Hughes, MD - Hospital Medicine, Duke Raleigh Hospital
Dr. Hughes became a faculty member in GIM in 2015. Since then, she has achieved recognition at Duke Regional Hospital as a dedicated hospitalist, educator and leader in quality improvement.
