Duke Institute for Health Innovation (DIHI), along with other sponsors from Duke University Main Campus, Duke Health, and PDC, is organizing the third Innovation Jam. This will be a shark tank-style event on October 3, 2017, where Duke innovators, inventors and entrepreneurs will have an opportunity to pitch their ideas to a team of internal “investors.” All faculty, staff, trainees and students are encouraged to apply.
This year, we are soliciting ideas that are closer to translation into market and/or commercialization.
Suggested themes for idea submissions include, but are not limited to:
- Innovative devices
- Novel use of analytics
- Digital health/mHealth
We anticipate selecting six finalists from our total pool of applicants to present their health innovations—each innovator will have 5 minutes to engage the investors and evaluators, followed by 8 minutes of Q&A.
