Rowena Dolor, MD, MHS, has recently spearheaded several national efforts to advance Practice-Based Research. She recently co-chaired the North American Primary Care Research Group (NAPCRG) Practice-Based Research Network (PBRN) conference from June 30-July 1. This national conference focused on the use of “Big Data” to address clinical care, patient-centered research, and population health and was a huge success, with the highest attendance and number of scientific abstract submissions in the history of the conference. She is Principal Investigator of NAPCRG's three-year conference planning grant from AHRQ and will continue to co-chair the meeting in 2015 and 2016.
Dr. Dolor also recently co-wrote two documents to guide researchers working with PBRNs: the "Toolkit for Developing and Conducting Multisite Clinical Trials in Practice-Based Research Networks" and the “PBRN Research Good Practices.” Congratulations on this outstanding leadership, Dr. Dolor!
