Duke introduces CoreResearch@Duke

Duke University and Duke University School of Medicine offer state-of-the-art shared research facilities and services that are available for use by all Duke Investigators.

CoreResearch@Duke is a new tool developed by the School of Medicine as an institutional resource that simplifies the process of booking instrument reservations and services from Duke’s many shared resources, and also streamlines the billing process associated with the purchase of these services.

Duke researchers and lab staff can now have access to Duke’s many core services and shared resources from one central on-line portal system. Currently, 12 shared resources can be accessed through CoreResearch@Duke. New resources are being added to the portal regularly, and the goal is to add nearly 70 more shared resources to the system during 2016.

When CoreResearch is fully implemented, researchers and lab staff will have one source where they can access most all of the shared resources, and financial and grant managers will have a single source for management and reporting of charges and pending costs across their portfolio of grants and fund codes.
