Nominations are open for election into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honor medical society. Each year the AOA elects a small number of faculty and alumni who exemplify the qualities of scholastic performance, potential for leadership, fairness in dealing with colleagues, compassion for others, integrity of character, and service to the school and larger community.
The faculty candidates fall into three categories: professors, associate/assistant professors, and alumni. To nominate a candidate, send a letter of support and a copy of the nominee’s CV in a pdf file to Theresa Harris at theresa.harris@dm.duke.edu by July 30, 2014.
