The Department of Medicine is accepting applications for The Mario Family Foundation Award to support junior investigators in training to make the transition to become independent scientists.
Fellows in the Department of Medicine are encouraged to apply by April 25, 2017.
One research proposal will be funded for 2017-18 depending on the merit of the applications received.
Funding is intended to provide support (salary and fringe benefits, or support of a research project) for the applicant during his/her research year in a Division of the Department of Medicine. The total funding for all proposal expenses is $35,000.
