Funding opp reminder: Deadlines coming up for DTRI voucher, translational pilot funding programs

Duke Translational Research Institute's Pilot Funding Program supports the development of novel methods and proof of concept evaluation of therapeutic agents, biomedical devices, diagnostic tests, and technologies.

Several funding application deadlines are coming up:

  • Voucher program, deadline Oct. 16, 2015: Up to $10,000 to generate preliminary data by accessing Duke University core facilities/shared resources
  • Translational Research Pilot Funding Agreement, deadline Oct. 30, 2015: Up to $100,000 for cross-disciplinary scientific research addressing the development of therapies, diagnostics or devices applicable to human disease, clinical research/trials (excluding Phase 2 or beyond), epidemiological studies, and/or community-based research
  • Supplemental award, deadline Jan. 7, 2016: Up to $25,000 to supplement active NIH (U-, P-, or R-funding mechanism) or similar PHS research projects for an unanticipated technology, collaboration, or resource
