The Translational Research Skills Development Core, which is part of the Duke Translational Medicine Institute Center for Thrombotic and Hemostatic Disorders, provides critical and ongoing focus to educate and provide experience to young investigators interested in thrombotic and hemostatic disorders.
The Young Investigator Award provides one (1) year of funding, up to $40,000 (direct costs only), to support a focused translational research project being conducted by an early-career thrombotic/hemostatic research investigator.
- Eligibility: Postdoctoral Fellows, Medical Fellows, Junior Faculty (within 3 years of their initial appointment), and NEW this cycle- Residents with protected research time.
