Michael Burt, MD
Dr. Burt has been with Duke since he began his Internal Medicine residency in 2018. At Duke University he was also the Chief Resident of Quality and Patient Safety. He now joins our division as a Hospitalist at Duke University Hospital.
Vinay Choksi, MD
Dr. Choksi has been with Duke since he began his Internal Medicine residency in 2018. He now joins our division as a Hospitalist at Duke University Hospital.
Michael Dore, MD
Dr. Dore comes to us from Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He joins our division as a hospitalist at the Durham VA Medical Center.
Adedayo Fashoyin, MD
Dr. Fashoyin has been with Duke since he became a Geriatrician Internist at the Durham VA Medical Center in 2021. He now joins our division as an Assistant Professor as part of the Ambulatory Care Service at the Durham VA Health Care System.
Aaron Hein, MD
Dr. Hein just completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Duke University Hospital and now joins our division as a Hospitalist at the Durham VA Medical Center.
Nathan Hirshman, MD
Dr. Hirshman has been with Duke since he began his residency in 2019. He now joins our division as a Hospitalist at Duke University Hospital.
John David Ike, MD, MSc
Dr. Ike comes to us from the University of Michigan where he was a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Medicine. He joins our division as a Hospitalist at Duke University Hospital.
Neha Kayastha, MD
Dr. Kayastha has been with Duke since she began her Internal Medicine residency in 2018. Upon completion, she transitioned to and completed a fellowship in the Department of Medicine Hospice and Palliative Care. She now joins our faculty as a Palliative Care physician.
Michelle Perkons, MD
Dr. Perkons comes to us from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where she was a Clinical Instructor and chief Resident of Medicine. She joins our division as a Hospitalist at Duke University Hospital.
Margaret (Peggy) Sahu, MD MSC
Dr. Sahu has been with Duke since she began her Internal Medicine residency in 2019. She now joins our division as a hospitalist at Duke University Hospital.
Silas Trumbo, MD
Dr. Trumbo comes to us from Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford where he was a Hospitalist. He joins our division as a hospitalist at Duke Regional Hospital.
Tingrui Zhao, MD
Dr. Zhao has been with Duke since he began his Internal Medicine residency in 2019. He now joins our division as a Hospitalist at Duke University Hospital.
