Greenblatt volunteers at Latinx vaccine clinic

Duke Health teamed up with the Latino Community Credit Union, through the LATIN-19 initiative, to create a vaccine clinic for Latinx community members. The vaccination clinic took place at the Latino Community Credit Union on Feb. 27 in North Raleigh. Doctors from around Duke volunteered at this event, including GIM Professor of Medicine, Dr. Larry Greenblatt.

"Working with community groups to directly address the health inequity around COVID-19 vaccination in the Latinx population was really gratifying," says Greenblatt.  "What a fun group of volunteers too!"

The event provided 490 vaccines and is part of Duke Health’s mission to ensure that limited vaccine supplies are distributed in ways that promote health equity.
