By ajz6@dhe.duke.edu
Faculty and fellows from throughout the Duke University Medical Center are invited to participate in the Inflammation and Fibrosis Meetup: Research planning through peersourcing Thurs., March 22 in the Duke Faculty Center (next to the Med Center Library). This meetup will be an informal discussion of opportunities for NIH funding and collaborations in the areas of inflammation and fibrosis. It will feature discussions about current research, networking among scientists, and refreshments (beer, wine and snacks). Refreshments start at 4:45, and discussions will begin at 5:00 p.m. For more information, contact Dee Gunn, MD, at michael.gunn@duke.edu. This meetup is an extension of the discussion around inflammation and fibrosis begun at the Department of Medicine Research Retreat in early February 2012. Other breakout groups will be meeting in the weeks ahead.
