SARS - don't forget to register for the ABIM exam! Also keep an eye on those procedure logs and get them updated.
If you haven't yet met with your coach, now is a great time to do so! Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Kudos
Thanks to all for an amazing recruitment season including our final week My Take speakers Chidi Egwim, Maggie Moses, Kahli Zietlow, Jenny Van Kirk, AJ Blood, and Corey Bradley and tour guides Zach Il'Giovine, Rachel Hu, Peter Hu, Maggie Moses, Kahli Zietlow, Claire Smith, Nicole Jawitz, and Shaki Salvador. You all did a fantastic job this year! We had a really fun second look weekend with the MRRC and GME as well. Thanks to all who participated in the happy hour, brunch and dinner.
Kudos this week from the CCU team to John Musgrove for outstanding teaching, to Linda Koshy for a great applicant report and to Hari Ramalingam for his gold star. Also to Coco Fraiche from her VA team for being an amazing dayfloat! And thanks to Lauren Collins, from Sarah Nouri and Mike Grant, for going WAY above and beyond as a VA day float! She was truly phenomenal--I can't praise her enough, Sarah said.
PubMed from the Program
This weeks pubmed from the program goes to Lauren Sharan for her national ACP abstract!
Have a great week!

Ambulatory Town Hall, Coming up
Please join us for noon conference February 2, where you will join folks from your clinic to hear about updates and hear responses to the feedback you have given on the most recent Continuity Clinic Survey!
To PEAC or not to PEAC?
PEAC modules are high quality ambulatory teaching modules created at Hopkins. JARs and SARs will remember these from last year when we used them. We are thinking of bringing them back. Please email Dani and Aparna with any suggestions for how they could support your learning and how we can best utilize them as a group!
Scheduling News
Jen and Lynsey and Emily have big plans for ambulatory in the next academic year! The 4+2 schedule will allow us to provide much more consistency to your continuity clinic half days and we plan to put together schedules for the entire year! This will make it easier to keep continuity with your own panel of patients, even with longer term follow-up!
Announcing next year’s ACLT group!
We are very excited to welcome a new crew into the ACLT next year! Rising ACLT JARs (in alphabetical order) will be:
- Ryan Anderson
- Johnny Komisar
- Joe Plaksin
- Ben Ranard
- Colin Smith
- Jasmine Washington
The ACLT has been hitting its stride with curricula in teaching and health policy. We have also expanded template options during the clinical portion of ambulatory blocks, including integrative medicine, pain medicine, women’s health, and more! Anyone in the residency can choose these options during ambulatory, they are not just for the ACLT. Thanks go to Aparna for all her hard work behind the scenes!
Watch for ACLT updates on the next GIM journal club in March/April as well as their advocacy plan for Raleigh, NC, in May of this year! Also in May, the ACLT graduating SARs will take over teaching of Academic Half Day!
Thanks everyone.
