Thanks to everyone for another great week and a fun time cheering Duke to victory!

Tonight and tomorrow we'll host two information/Q&A sessions on Applying to Fellowship. The sessions will be held at 6:15 p.m. in the Med Res Library. The same content will be covered in both sessions, so you only have to attend one meeting. Read below for more opportunities and events.

Coming up Friday: Be the Match for Match Day and our Match Day Celebration!

Don't forget: Please send any of your news or kudos for your colleagues to Erin Payne.

Have a great week!

Clinic Corner: Pickett Road

Contributed by Sharon Rubin, MD

Despite the weather, we are looking forward to spring. In April we will be planting our garden with flowers, herbs and vegetables. With the success of tomatoes last year, we hope to grow more and donate more to the patients and staff. We have been increasing the Transforming Primary Care procedures here at Pickett.  Our rooming staff has been scheduling patients follow up appointments to decrease our wait at the front desk. Our focus has been on medication refills during the visit to decrease refills requests. With leadership from Dr. Peyser Pickett Road is focusing on Breast cancer awareness. All staff has been working to identify appropriate female patients who need breast cancer screening.
