From the Director
HAPPY HALLOWEEN! And the last day of Doctoberfest/first day of recruitment (preliminary intern interview day). Who’s psyched? I am!! Stay tuned for the results of the candy corn count contest as well as end of Doctoberfest trivia. And if you are sad that the great month of October is over, November is filled with some pretty great stuff as well. Thanks to all who joined us at Ponysaurus on Thursday for some end of October good cheer.
November includes the start of college basketball season, recruitment (coming every Mon and Thurs to a residency program near you … Kayla has the sign up details of how you can help make sure the newest DukeFam are amazing), enacting that voting plan you set out to do, Turkey Bowl, the GME blood drive (goes with the Halloween theme), fellowship match, lots of opportunities at the City of Medicine Academy (email me for details), new additions to the DukeFam (baby Coles, baby VanKirk-Wood, to name a few ) and more!
