Kussin: Talking story, and you can, too

By ajz6@dhe.duke.edu
Peter Kussin, MD, associate professor of medicine (Pulmonary, Allergy & Critical Care Medicine), was a featured storyteller at last Tuesday's Talk Story show. What's Talk Story? It's a narrative variety show held the second Tuesday of each month at Casbah, a Durham music venue. Listen to a clip from Dr. Kussin's story, about his medical mission to Aceh, Indonesia after the December 26, 2004 tsunami. He was on Miami Beach when the tsunami struck half a world away, and a few weeks later, he'd gotten himself to the devastated, remote tip of Sumatra. http://news.medicine.duke.edu/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/Kussin-on-the-… [gallery link="file"]
