We are pleased to announce Matthew Maciejewski, PhD, Duke Professor of Medicine, has been selected as a Statistical Reviewer for the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA).
Dr. Maciejewski has been reviewing for JAMA for over 4 years. This past fall during a trial experience, he was invited specifically to provide statistical reviews of submissions with non-randomized study designs so JAMA editors could evaluate the quality of his reviews. This week he was formally invited to join the team of statistical reviewers, one currently comprised of eight experts.
"I look forward to this new challenge and to learning a great deal," says Maciejewski.
Dr. Maciejewski is a Research Career Scientist and Director of the Health Economics and Policy Unit in the Center for Health Services Research in Primary Care at the Durham VA Medical Center.
