Medicine faculty and trainees receive 2016 Innovation Awards

Duke Institute for Health Innovation has announced the recipients of its 2016 Innovation Awards, and among them are many Medicine faculty and trainees (listed in bold below).

The innovation award projects will help Duke Health lead in the areas of population health and analytics, novel patient interactions, new and team-based models of care, and to optimize patient flow. This is the third year that the institute has funded projects through a call for innovation applications across Duke University.

More than 60 applications from across the university and health system competed for support, and 12 projects were funded. The innovation projects that won will receive funding support from DIHI in addition to project management support, access to data, analytics and visualization, and statistical support.
