Medicine Grand Rounds 5/18/2012: Chronic kidney disease

Medicine Grand Rounds on Fri., May 18 at 8am in Duke Hospital room 2002 will feature Neil Powe, MD,MPH, chief of medicine at San Francisco General Hospital, Constance B. Wofsy Distinguished Professor and vice-chair of medicine at the University of California San Francisco. Dr. Powe will present Chronic Kidney Disease: A Window into Understanding Health Disparities. Powe will be the George Phillips, Jr., MD Memorial Visiting Professor. This annual speaking role is named for the late Dr. Phillips, who was associate professor of medicine  and associate dean at Duke University, and deputy director of the Duke  Comprehensive Sickle Cell Clinic. Learn more about Phillips in this dedication to a special issue of the Journal of Neuro-Oncology.
