Orlando CroppedLori Orlando, MD, MHS, will be taking on the role of associate director for precision medicine at the new Center for Applied Genomics and Precision Medicine (CAGPM). “I have great confidence in [Dr. Orlando’s] experience, wisdom,  and skills to develop these areas and to continue our prominence in the field,” says CAGPM Director Geoffrey Ginsburg, MD, PhD. The CAGPM, formed this fall, will work to define the translational pathways from genomic discovery to human application and to develop health system initiatives required for precision medicine. It was formed from the Institute for Genome Sciences & Policy, which closed this summer and the Center for Personalized and Precision medicine in the health system. Congratulations, Dr. Orlando!
