Palmer elected to Duke Chapter of Alpha Omega Alpha honor society

Congratulations to Scott Palmer, MD, the Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Medicine, for his election in the Duke University School of Medicine chapter of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society as an alumnus for Fall 2016.

Dr. Palmer leads a successful program of clinical, basic and translational research in transplantation and advanced lung diseases. He currently directs the pulmonary research program at the Duke Clinical Research Institute (DCRI).

Alpha Omega Alpha is a national medical honor society founded in 1902 to recognize and enhance professionalism, academic excellence, service, and leadership within the profession of medicine.
