The April 26, 2022, session of Duke Medicine LEADS featured Robert William Harrison, MD presenting on "Cardiology Updates: Contemporary Approach to Evaluating Chest Pain." 

Pearls

  • Atypical chest pain should no longer be used. Rather, chest pain should be described by the likelihood that it is cardiac or non-cardiac.

  • Anatomical testing with coronary CT angiography or coronary calcium scoring has an emerging role in the evaluation of chest pain.
