The Duke Project Management Community of Practice (PMCoP) formally launched in October of this year. Their mission is to provide professional development and a professional network for project managers; education and opportunities for students, faculty, and staff; and a repository for best practices, tools, and resources in project management.
PMCoP efforts focus on project management across the full spectrum of Duke and Durham VA graduate and post-doctoral training environments, health care organizations, and academic research settings. The PMCoP hosts career development and networking events, has generated a toolback of PM tools and established a LinkedIn group.
By creating a robust community, PMCoP will provide opportunities to learn from each other, enhance our individual and collective success, and support one another’s development.
