Recent GIM funding awards

Congratulations to these general medicine faculty members who are recipients of research funding since July 2017:

Keisha Bentley-Edwards, PHD received an award from the National Institutes of Health for a project entitled "Religion, Spirituality and CVD Risks: A Focus on African Americans." Total funding will be $2,713,229.

L. Ebony Boulware, MD, received awards from: 

  • The University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill for a project entitled "Regulatory Guidance for Academic Research of Drugs and Devices." Total funding will be $80,288.
  • The National Institutes of Health for a project entitled "Enhancing the Manuscript Lifecycle from Keywords to Publication: Processes and Outcomes." Total funding will be $39,750.

Ranee Chatterjee Montgomery, MD, received an award from Epigenomics AG for a project entitled "Performance of Epi ProColon in Repeated Testing in the Intended Use Population (PERT) Study." Total funding will be $1,010,767.

Susanne B. Haga, PhD has received from the National Institutes of Health for a project entitled "Summer Scholars Program in Genome Sciences and Medicine." Total funding will be $1,056,524.
