Rubin receives ambulatory teaching award

Dr. Sharon Rubin, assistant professor of medicine in Duke GIM, received the 2016 Ambulatory Teaching Award at Duke Medicine Grand Rounds on June 10. The Internal Medicine House Staff presents this award to a faculty member who best exemplifies commitment and excellence to teaching in ambulatory medicine.

Dr. Rubin has been an excellent attending to work with. Her dedication to the house staff ensures that the Pickett Road clinic is a great learning environment. Ambulatory medicine is an area many of us have had less exposure to, and she consistently goes the extra mile to make sure we provide the best care possible to our clinic patients. As an advisor, she prioritizes resident wellness and has been a huge help in making it through internship.
