Dean Nancy Andrews has asked Edward Buckley, MD to serve as acting chair of the Department of Opthalmology. Dr. Buckley is a highly respected administrator and pediatric ophthalmologist. He is the Banks Anderson Distinguished Professor of Opthalmology and Pediatrics and has served as Vice Dean for Education for the School of Medicine since 2008. He is also the director of the pediatric opthalmology fellowship program.
