Duke Center for Research to Advance Health Equity will host "Understanding and Mitigating the Effects of Implicit Bias in Healthcare" from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. on Fri., May 3, 2019 in the Great Hall of the Trent Semans Center.
The program will include an interactive workshop for trainees, investigators, and research staff; initial results from REACH Equity Research Project on implicit bias training; and a keynote address by Michelle van Ryn, PhD, MPH, Professor, Oregon Health & Science University and nationally-recognized expert in implicit bias.
