The annual meeting of the Society of General Internal Medicine is just four months away. This highly regarded symposium will take place April 11-14, 2018, in Denver, CO, and early-bird registration just opened December 14. We are already learning of Duke GIM acceptances at this year's meeting, including an inaugural special symposia by Dr. Patrick Hemming entitled, "Behavioral Health Integration and Value-based Care: Building a financially sustainable program" and 3 workshop acceptances for Dr. Daniella Zipkin!

The SGIM 2018 annual meeting theme is “Health IT: Empowering General Internists to Lead Digital Innovation". The Society of General Internal Medicine is a national medical society of 3,000 physicians who are the primary internal medicine faculty of every medical school and major teaching hospital in the United States. The Journal of GIM is the official journal of SGIM.
