Third quarter 2016 GIM funding awards

Jennifer J. St. Clair Russell has received an award from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality for a project entitled "Using Mixed Methods to Explore Barriers and Facilitators to Nephrologist-Initiated Discussions about Palliative Care." Total funding will be $57,043.

Kevin A. Schulman has received an award from the Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria for a project entitled "Education Program for PHN." Total funding will be $17,655.

Shenglan Tang received awards from:

  • the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for a project entitled "Supporting the Government of China to Implement Health Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)." Total funding will be $898,307.
  • the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for a project entitled "Supporting the National Scale-up of an Innovative Program to improve TB Control in China." Total funding will be $1,199,997.

John Williams has received a sub-award through Oregon Health & Science University for a project entitled "Peer Review of PCORI's Funded Research." Total funding will be $31,808.
