Three Department of Medicine faculty members were among the 13 members of the School of Medicine and School of Nursing faculty named to endowed professorships by Duke University on April 26, 2011.

Shiao-Wen David Hsu, MD, PhD, assistant professor of medicine (Medical Oncology), was named the William Dalton Family Assistant Professor in Medical Oncology.
Mary Klotman, MD, professor and chair of medicine, was named the R.J. Reynolds Professor of Medicine.
Manesh Patel, MD, assistant professor of medicine (Cardiology), was named the John Bush Simpson Assistant Professor of Cardiology.
