Three faculty recruits to join in School of Medicine partnership hires initiative

Under the School of Medicine Partnership Hires Recruiting Initiative, three new tenured faculty will join the School with appointments in the Department of Medicine. Through the Microbiomics Partnership, John Rawls, PhD, currently an associate professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, will bridge the Division of Gastroenterology, the Duke Institute for Genome Sciences and Policy, and the Department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology. Also through the Microbiomics Partnership,  Lawrence David, PhD, currently a fellow at Harvard University, will bridge the Division of Infectious Diseases, the Duke Institute for Genome Sciences and Policy, and the Department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology. Through the Human Genetics Partnership, Dennis Ko, MD, PhD, currently a fellow at the University of Washington at Seattle, will bridge the Division of Medical Genetics, the Duke Center for Human Genome Variation and the Department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology.
