Congratulations are once again in order for Dr. Tulsky, who was just awarded a $1.7 million, three-year grant from the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). This grant will build upon an existing computer program called SCOPE that allows oncologists to record conversations with patients and receive feedback on how well they did. The new PCORI grant will allow patients to also listen to these conversations and give feedback to these doctors. This research has the potential to vastly improve quality of care, as well as patient-provider communication. Keep up the great work, Dr. Tulsky! Read the project summary.
