In partnership with the Society of General Internal Medicine, the GIM divisions from Duke and UNC are joining forces to host our Inaugural #ProudtobeGIM gathering.  We will be gathering at the University Club, enjoying food and drink and looking out over Chapel Hill and Durham from the 17th Floor of University Towers (3100 Tower Blvd in Durham).

The 2019 Society of General Internal Medicine Annual Meeting will be held in Washington, D.C., on May 8-11, 2019. The theme this year is "Courage to Lead: Equity, Engagement, and Advocacy in Turbulent Times." We had great Duke representation at this past year's meeting, and we hope to see even more submissions and involvement for 2019!

The theme for the 2019 conference is "How do we keep prevention on the table in face of disease management incentives?" The conference takes place June 24-25, 2019 at the Hyatt Bethesda.
