Welcome new GIM members

We are proud to welcome 8 new faculty and staff members to the Division of General Internal Medicine:

NEW FACULTY MEMBERS: 

Andrea Archibald, MD, joins our faculty and is a Hospitalist at Duke Regional Hospital.

Nicole DePasquale, PhD, is a Medical Instructor working with Dr. Boulware to establish a research program that brings a family studies perspective to scholarship on chronic kidney disease. She recently received her PhD in Human Development and Family Studies from The Pennsylvania State University.

Zachary Hager, MD, just finished his medicine residency at the New York Presbyterian Hospital. He now joins our division as a hospitalist at Duke University Hospital.

Muhammad Khan, MD, joins our faculty as a hospitalist at the Durham VA. 

Adam Tosh, MD, completed his residency at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in June and now joins Duke GIM as a hospitalist at Duke University Hospital. 

Betty Zhao, MD, comes to us from the University of Michigan where she just finished up her Internal Medicine residency. She joined our division in mid-July as a hospitalist at Duke University Hospital. 

NEW STAFF MEMBERS: 

Ashley Cabacungan is a Clinical Research Specialist, assisting investigators with conducting literature reviews and preparing proposals, manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations for research studies. She is a recent graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health Studies with a concentration in Community Health.

Iris Harris is a Staff Assistant in DGIM and will be administrative support for the GIM team. Iris has over 20 years of experience in Corporate America as an Executive Assistant.
