The Department of Medicine and Duke Internal Medicine Residency Program celebrated the 2020-21 fellowship match today. “The fellowship match represents the culmination of a tremendous amount of work for our senior residents,” said Kathleen Cooney, MD, MACP, chair of the Department of Medicine. “I am delighted to see our residents take this next step in their careers.”

In November, the Duke Internal Medicine Residency Program held the 9th annual, and first virtual, Stead Tread 5K Run/Walk to benefit the Lincoln Community Health Center. Each year the Stead Tread is organized by the residency program's Greenfield Stead Society, and this year participants had from Nov. 1-26 to run or walk a 5K and submit their time.
