What are your career goals? I hope to be a hospital epidemiologist and general infectious disease physician, with regular involvement in medical education and teaching.

What are your research or academic areas? My focus is on hospital epidemiology, infection prevention, and antimicrobial stewardship. Some things I've worked on include hospital acquired invasive fungal infection surveillance, surgical site infections, outbreak responses, and diagnostic stewardship in urinary tract infections.

What are your interests outside of medicine? I love exploring Durham! A perfect weekend for me probably involves some local hiking/nature walks, especially at Eno River State Park, going to one of the many wonderful ice cream shops, and checking out a bookstore or doing some arts & crafts. I love art, nature, reading, puzzles, spending time with my friends, and traveling to see friends and family!
