What are your career goals?
I’m still exploring my long-term career goals, but I am drawn to a future that blends clinical nephrology with medical education. I enjoy teaching and look forward to a career that allows me to stay engaged in academic medicine while caring for patients.
What were you looking for in a fellowship program?
I was looking for a program with strong clinical training, dedicated leadership, and clear organization. It was important to me to find a program that not only offers exposure to the full spectrum of nephrology but also provides a well-structured environment with supportive mentorship to help guide my growth during fellowship.
Which Scholar pathway will you choose and why?
I’m keeping my options open as I start fellowship. I know I enjoy medical education and hope to build on that interest, but I’m also excited to explore the different subspecialty areas within nephrology. I’m looking forward to discovering what aspects of the field I’m most drawn to and choosing a pathway that aligns with that.
What are the strengths of the Duke program?
The Duke program stood out to me for its strong clinical training and structured support for academic development. What stood out to me most was how engaged and accessible the fellows and faculty were during the interview process, and how intentional the program is about helping fellows grow in their individual interests.
