What were you looking for in a fellowship program?
Strong clinical foundation with exposure to a wide variety of disease processes, procedures, and complexity. Access to resources to ensure a productive research training, including faculty mentorship and formal education pathways for research methodology.

About Life in Durham

What is the best thing about living in Durham and the Triangle?
There are many perks of living in a bigger city (eateries, museums, arts, sports) without significant traffic, congestion, high cost of living. There are also abundant outdoor activities like hiking, trail running, cycling. It’s really just an extremely easy place to live.

What are your interests outside of medicine?
Endurance sports (triathlon, distance running, trail running, swimming, cycling), culinary adventures, gardening, and small scale home renovations.
