Dennis Abraham, MD, assistant professor of medicine (Cardiology), received notification of funding for his K Award for his project entitled “TREK-1 in Fibroblast Differentiation and Cardiac Fibrosis Development.”
Dr. Abraham is the Greenfield Scholar this year in the Division of Cardiology, and the recipient of the Melvin L. Marcus Young Investigator Award in Basic Cardiovascular Sciences at the AHA Scientific Sessions in 2014 and the Chair's Research Award in 2012 and 2014.
