AIM recognizes Joe Doty with 2015 Distinguished Service Award

The Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine has recognized Joe Doty, vice chair for administration, with the 2015 AIM Distinguished Service Award.

The award recognizes an individual who has contributed her or his time and talent to the organization in a manner that best reflects business administrators.

“I know that the success of our department is completely dependent on having a strong team," said Mary Klotman, MD, chair of the Department of Medicine. "We are so fortunate to have a leader like Joe Doty that so passionately cares about and understands the core missions and value of a successful Department of Medicine.  He has selflessly brought that expertise to AIM and is most deserving of this recognition.”

The award is presented each fall at the Annual AIM Educational Conference, which is held in conjunction with Academic Internal Medicine Week.
