The Duke Institute for Health Innovation – in collaboration with sponsors across Duke Health enterprise – is pleased to announce the inaugural Duke Health Innovation Jam.
The Innovation Jam is a unique Shark Tank style event on Tuesday, September 15 from 8:30am to 12:30pm. Implementable and sustainable ideas that can create value, differentiation or competitive advantage in transforming health and health care have a have a shot at winning actual investment dollars toward development.
Several senior leaders have pledged to invest actual dollars in order to earn a coveted place at the Investors Table. Mary Klotman, MD, professor of medicine and chair of the Department of Medicine, is one of the senior investors.
The Innovation Jam will also be an incredible opportunity to be noticed by some of the most important people at DUHS and have their undivided attention.
Ten innovative and conceptualized ideas will be selected to pitch to the Investors.
Submissions are due by 5 p.m. on Friday, August 21.
Staff, faculty, residents, and students from the Duke School of Medicine, Duke University, and Duke University Health System may submit ideas.
Event attendance is open to both Duke and external audiences. Please RSVP if you want to attend the event as seating will be limited.
