Four GIM faculty selected to join Faculty Development Academy

The Duke Department of Medicine Faculty Development Academy launched in October 2011 and addresses individual faculty development needs, supplements on-going mentorship, and develops faculty in high priority career tracks.

Congratulations to the following GIM faculty members chosen to join the academy this year:

Oliver Glass, PhD

Education Scholars Branch:
Colby Feeney, MD
Danielle Richardson, MD, MPH
Suchita Shah Sata, MD

We are also pleased to see GIM Professor of Medicine, Eugene Oddone, MD, (pictured right) chosen as one of the faculty coaches for the Clinical/Health Services Researcher Branch. The coaches were chosen by having "strong mentoring and career development track records."

Fellows of the Academy are served by one of three branches:

Basic/Translational Researcher Branch
Clinical/Health Services Researcher Branch
Education Scholar Branch

The new class of fellows will begin in January of 2019 and continue for a 2-year program.
