- Targeted T helper 2 (Th2) biologic therapy is safe and effective for patients with atopic disease.
- In atopic patients where antihistamines and topical corticosteroids have failed and where allergen immunotherapy may not be feasible, therapeutic targeting of cytokine signaling pathways may provide substantial improvement in quality of life outcomes.
