Wang + Diamantidis author article in BMC Nephrology
Virginia Wang, PhD, Clarissa Diamantidis, MD, et al. authored a recent research article in BMC Nephrology entitled, Minding the gap and overlap: a literature review of fragmentation of primary care for chronic dialysis patients. The paper looks at the collaboration and communication of primary care physicians (PCPs) and nephrologists in patients with end-stage renal disease.

Battling malaria from afar with clinical research, bench science and global allies
With global collaborations, laboratory studies and blood samples taken where the trouble is, infectious disease specialist Steve Taylor, MD, collaborates widely to battle lethal malaria. The aim is to better prevent, treat, and generally disable an illness caused by one-cell parasites that excel at moving from mosquitoes to people and back again, producing a loop of infection.
