Collaborative research is a benchmark of the Duke Division of Geriatrics research program.
We have been fortunate at Duke to not only have developed successful collaborations within Duke University, but we also have a wealth of technical and intellectual resources in the North Carolina Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) and beyond.
Current research collaborators include:
- Cancer and Leukemia Group B (CALGB) is a national group funded by the National Cancer Institute to bring together clinical oncologists and laboratory investigators to develop better treatments for cancer.
- Geriatric Research Education and Clinical Centers (GRECC) advance and integrate research, education, and clinical achievements in geriatrics and gerontology into the total VA health care system.
