
The Rheumatology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Fellowship at Duke University School of Medicine is dedicated to training nurse practitioners and physician assistants to excel in the specialized field of rheumatology. As one of the few programs of its kind in the country, our fellowship provides comprehensive training in the evaluation and management of a wide range of rheumatic diseases, preparing APPs for successful careers in both academic and clinical practice settings.
About Our Program
The APP Rheumatology Fellowship is designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of advanced practice providers through hands-on clinical experience, didactic education, and mentorship from expert faculty and APPs. Fellows will gain extensive exposure to the diagnosis and management of complex autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, equipping them to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
